Ways & Means

The Ways & Means Committee reviews fundraiser options and organizes fundraising events.  This committee currently has three members, but can always use volunteers to help out.

Publicity

The Publicity Committee helps to communicate the message of the PTO.  This committee maintains the content of the marquee out in front of Bartley Elementary.  The Publicity Committee puts together the Bartley Buzz Book and prepares informational handouts about events and activities that go home to parents.  Look for a NEW monthly newsletter from the PTO the Publicity Committee is developing this school year to help streamline communications.

Website  

The Website Committee will be responsible for updating and maintaining the PTO Website so that parents have access to PTO info at their fingertips from work, home, everywhere!!  If you have graphic design experience, please share your artistic talents by joining the Website Committee.

Grants   

The Grant Committee is also a new committee being formed in the 2004-2005 school year.  We are currently recruiting parents to be a part of this committee.  The Grants Committee will be responsible for researching available grants for school projects and for making application for grants on behalf of the PTO.  We are hoping the Grants Committee will be able to find new avenues to fund improvements to our school. If you have knowledge about how to find grant monies, or are willing to jump in and learn we need you for this committee.
